"I just wanted to thank you - your ads are the most creative and interesting campaign ads I've ever seen. I believe that, generally, all candidates are equally (though differently) qualified; it's often impossible, however, to gain insight into their character. Your ads speak volumes about your character, and it's truly refreshing. I will be voting for you (as a result of your ads), and I hope I'm joined by many, many others!"
"As a former 2000 candidate for US Congress and a current professional wrestler, I understand all aspects of running a non-conventional political campaign.
I have viewd and listen to your ads over the past few weeks and I must tell you that I truly enjoyed them and most importanly I believe that they are incredibly effective.
So many times, politicans try to conform but unknowns and outsiders like ourselves have to "push the envelope" to generate publicity and media coverage.
Even though I am helping Corrinne Wood's election effort, I would really enjoy coming aboard and helping your campaign.
I also think that, due to my numerous meida hits during my own campaign in 2000, that we could get some "hits" out of my support for your candidacy. IE. Sneed, INC., FOX News, etc.
Please have someone contact me if you think that I could help generate even more publicity for your campaign. I would be honored to help you."
"Love the TV ad with the babies. It's definately an eye catcher. He's got my vote!"
"I am a Young Republicans chapter officer in South Carolina, as well as a long time field campaign operative down here. The Associated Press had a story about your ad campaign, and I followed the link to check out the ads.
I looked at them and I have to say two things ...
1) Absolutely FABULOUS ... these kind of "break the mold" tactics WIN races. I've already referred candidates down here to look at those ads.
2) If I ever want to learn Polish, I promise not to ask for your help.
Best of luck in your campaign ... someone as willing as you to lighten the tone of politics and break the conventional rules deserves to win."
"Don't know anything about Illinois politics, but saw the AP story about your ads and they sound great. This is also one of the best political websites I've seen. Please put your ads on your site at some point so the rest of the country can see them."
"
Driving to work this morning, I heard a spot for Bob Coleman on WSWT, Peoria.
I hated it.
It annoyed me to such an extent that I decided I must search to see if "Bob Coleman" had a website as soon as I got to work. I had to know who was behind this "snoring engineer" ad.
Anyway, I've spent pretty much all morning reading this site, and I'm glad I did. This site is is so awesome in terms of content and information. Bob Coleman may count on my vote.
So, in short, the commercial rubbed me the wrong way, but it inspired me to look up Mr. Coleman and now I have an opinion on a primary race that I previously knew nothing about.
Just thought you might like real person feedback."
